Ingredients:
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- pinch of salt
- less than 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- less than 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- a bit of greek style yoghurt
- cherry jam (or other fruit)
Mix all ingredients together. Fry on both sides in butter (pancakes will have a delicate, buttery taste), preferably under cover - it will be quicker - to blush.
Put the jam on half the pancake, bend in half, pour the juice from the jam.
Final result:
I did try once for breakfast. I must admit they are not bad. My miss absolutely loved them. The best serve straight away from a pan. Easy to prepare and very tasty . Fully recommended!!
